Originally a 3 litre, then converted to a fully race prepared 4.5 litre, this car was raced for several years until the owner decided he wanted the car for everyday road use. He asked us to build a strong but lightweight body that was also practical for everyday use, complete with rear seats for friends or luggage. After much discussion, we decided to create a mock up body from sheets of cardboard and sticky tape, thank goodness for modern technology!!! When all parties had agreed on the shape, we then proceeded to reproduce every detail in aluminium, all fixed to a light aluminium frame, and the end result was a very attractive car, which seemed perfectly in proportion and unique. |

Apart from the original bonnet and scuttle, this Bentley was rebodied, using old photographs as a guide and also a bit of creativity on our part, to give the owner something a little different from all the others, I am pleased to say, that the owner and ourselves were very happy with the result. |
